Narye couldn't help but cringe at the thought of someone as old as her boss anywhere close to nude. In fact, if Narye had it his way, her boss would be required to wear more clothes, like the parkas the Water Tribespeople wear.
"Agreed. Lets never find out what he looks like without 'em."
Another though crossed Narye's mind about what Saaga gad mentioned. Her boss was just a little over sixty. That meant he was roughly twenty years older than Narye. That wasn't too long away compared to what Narye had already lived. So did that mean he would look like that when he got to that age? Narye hoped not, especially now that he realized it. He made a mental note to his future self to not stop working out even when he got old. No way he could keep his current physique in his autumn years, but he could try.
Speaking of physique, Narye was sorely tempted to let Saaga get a better feel of him when she stood up to paw at him. Maybe lift up his shirt so she could feel his chest better. The move was unexpected but fun and frisky. When she leaned over, Narye brought himself forward a bit so she could feel all she wanted. That and her little grin raised Narye's temperature a little. It also made the owner at the bar raise an eyebrow and smile at Narye from behind Saaga.
"Hmph. Passable my ass."
Saaga's false appraisal was followed by false indignation from Narye. Though he wondered if his rear end was indeed passable. He never really thought about it before.
"Miss, I just provide the drinks. You're gettin' yourself drunk. So... I guess I am! But you don't seem to mind all that much."
At the moment, Narye was less concerned with where their relationship would go and more concerned with making sure they had enough sake and beer. Just hanging out and joking and laughing with Saaga was enjoyable in its own right.
"So when do I get to paw at you?"

”Hmm, well I suppose that’s one of your finer points,” she grinned wide and tilted her head, glancing downwards at his hips and the arch of his waist, though of course the view was obscured by layers of clothing. She didn’t mind it though. She had a healthy imagination and quite a lot of reference from their first encounter.
Rising from her chair to stand, even if it had been only for a little while, had effectively made the drink go into her head. There was a sort of fuzzy feeling in her chest and she felt like she didn’t have to hold back with him or shy away from talking straight. Though she really didn’t have much trouble being blunt when she was fully sober either. After four cups of sake she was really starting to feel like letting loose once in a while might not be such a bad idea.
“Oh I don’t mind it right now. Tomorrow might be a whole nother story though,” she said to him and pushed her empty cup away. She wasn’t even trying to keep up with how much she’d had. A lot or little didn’t make much of a difference in her hangovers she had noticed and it felt absurd to go through such an abominable feeling over a few cups of wine. That is why she preferred to drink heavily if she ever drank at all.
Narye’s question probably should have irked her, and maybe it would have if she weren’t slightly inebriated. As it was, she actually laughed a little and crossed her arms under her breast, leaning towards the table.
“Well, thanks to you I’m not exactly a stranger to the kind of pawing you have in mind. Maybe later, if you behave,” she said eyes glinting, though she made an immediate mental note of dialing down on the double entendres and such. They were supposed to be going slow damnit and she had been the one who’d explicitly asked that they did.

Given Narye's current state, it took a second for him to realize that Saaga had been complimenting his aforementioned ass. When it hit him, he tried to adjust himself in his seat to make himself look better to her wandering eyes but only managed to squirm in his seat. The sake and beer was starting to get to him too, possibly even more so than his drinking partner across the table. Narye was a cheap date and he knew it. It did not take all that much to get him drunk and it only got worse(Or better) from there.
"Oh yeah. I'll probably want to be dead tomorrow mornin' too, but tonight we're livin' it up!"
Hangovers were a problem for Narye too, but that was true for just about anyone. Fortunately, Narye possessed a strong constitution and it was uncommon for him to lose his food unless he REALLY got hammered. However his head would still hurt like hell.
Unlike Saaga, Narye continued to drink it up by pouring himself another cup of sake, and filling up Saaga's even though she pushed it away. Just in case she felt like indulging herself a bit more. Before he took another swig of the stuff, Narye got a little mischievious.
Standing up from his chair on slightly wobbly legs, he crossed over to Saaga's side of the table, chair in tow. He set it right down next to her, followed by himself with a big tipsy smile on his face. Then he took his drink.
"So do I have to behave good? Or behave a little naughty?"
His free hand had come up and put itself on Saaga's thigh, rubbing it and squeezing it gently.

Narye’s squirming was met with laugh hidden behind a hand. He looked so awkward and even a little taken a back while he was doing it, that it was hard not to be amused and somewhat embarrassed for him. By observing his behavior Saaga came to the conclusion that he did not have much of a tolerance for alcohol. She was a bit tipsy too, but he was farther along the road to drunkenness and was quickly showing signs of losing all sorts of inhibitions. At this point she could only hope he wasn’t one of those aggressive drunks, who got into a fight with anyone who so much as looked at them funny.
She raised her eyebrows when he rose from his chair and proceeded to make his way to sit next to her. Her expression became a little more surprised, perplexed even, when he touched her thigh…and kept on touching it. She cleared her throat some and took the drink he had poured for her, swigging it down like a weathered sailor bent on drinking himself to an early grave.
She put the cup on the table and turned to look at him, eyes a little glazed from the alcohol. She crossed her legs, not really caring if Narye’s hand got pressed between them. He was free to remove his hand anytime he saw fit.
“Usually people do mean the good kind of behavior by that phrase,” she said to him and poked him on the chest once to make a point.
“We’re in a public place after all,” she continued and looked around a bit to see the man at the bar staring over at them. When she met his gaze, he turned to talk to a customer and quickly returned to pouring drinks. It wasn’t as if Saaga had any aversion towards public displays of affection, but she wasn’t really keen on sloppy drunken affections, especially since she was not as intoxicated as he seemed to be.

Narye soon found his wandering, rather lecherous, hand clamped inbetween Saaga's thighs. Honestly Narye, while a little surprised by that reaction, was kind of liking it. He loved her thighs, they were warm and compressed his hand nicely. It turned him on a little but he was aware that she pretty much wanted him move his hand despite closing her legs around it. But before he did, Narye couldn't really control himself and massaged her thigh a bit more and even threatened to... do more before taking his hand back. All the while he smiled drunkenly at her.
"If so you say so... I'll try to be on my best behavior..."
Luckily for Saaga, Narye was not an aggressive drunk. At least not aggressive in the sense that he started fights or threw punches. Narye could be described as a comical drunk, all wobbly legs and uninhibited words, with a hint of handsy drunk, as she already experienced.
If he couldn't have his hand on her, Narye instead opted to lean way back in his chair, almost like he was trying to recline in it, with his head lulled over in Saaga's direction. He just could not stop looking at her, and smiling at her.
"Oh... I love being around you, Saaga... I could seriously have fun doin' anythin' with ya..."
He scooched a little closer to her, leaning off his chair a little since his chair failed to move with him. His hand came up again, except instead of being a mini-horndog it instead brushed a bit of hair out of Saaga's face, caressing her cheek along the way.
"You're so pretty..."

Her face was a treacherous thing and betrayed all sorts emotions that were going on in her head. The flush on her cheeks was getting brighter and alcohol alone was not to blame. She bit down on the insides of her cheeks, trying not to make any revealing noises by his touch. Though she admitted to taking some guilty pleasure out of it, she was more annoyed than anything that he lingered on a while before removing his hand. She was a minute away from slapping him on the wrist when he finally did.
“Yes, that’s what I’m saying. There might be some repercussions if you aren’t, and I doubt mine have the same meaning as yours,” she said, not quite managing to hold a straight face and bent towards the table to fill up her cup, laughing as she did.
She could only fill it halfway though, as the bottle emptied out and she was left with a disappointed little pout on her lips. She turned in the direction of the bar counter and raised the bottle up, indicating she wanted more of the same. She didn’t need to even raise her voice as the barkeep was glancing over at their table again. Was he keeping an eye on them? What on earth for? Narye’s moving about made her focus her attentions to him again and she smiled at the way he was starting to slur his words a little. It was rather funny to listen to.
“Anything? What do you have in mind? Despite the obvious I mean,” she asked and put an arm around him, allowing him to rest his head on her shoulder. Though that kind of put her in a bit of an imbalance considering how much shorter she was than him. But maybe some form of support would keep him from falling off his chair.
She closed her eyes for a moment while he touched her cheek, but paid no mind to the compliment that followed. She’d heard a saying once, that truth often came from the mouths of drunks and children, but personally she found she much rather trusted people's words when they were sober. But she had to admit she found him quite adorable anyway.
“Anyone ever tell you, you’re a cute drunk?” she laughed, tangling his hair around her fingers and scratching his head like she would a puppy.

The barkeep was prompt on his delivery of a few bottle of sake, not letting the two of them go for too long without without their rice-made booze. Being a courteous server, he did not stick around after dropping off the bottle, though he did roll his eyes at Narye before turning and walking away. He had seen Narye like this before and he was just glad that his young date was keeping him occupied. Last time he got that drunk he caused a bit of a ruckus trying to get the entire bar to join him in song.
Narye was happily nuzzling into Saaga's neck like some kind of small furry animal under the influence of alcohol. When he heard the clink of a new bottle, he groped around in the air until his fingers grasped the bottle and he poured himself a new cup before handing it to Saaga.
"Not the obvious, okay... Uh... I like just drinkin' it up with ya and dancin' and snugglin' and I dunno... Lots of stuff."
He laughed along with Saaga at her question, then took another drink from his freshly-poured cup of sake.
"Not really. But I like bein' cute instead of annoyin'..."
During his nuzzling, he had combed his nose through her hair a little and then into her neck. He would be remiss if he did not give Saaga's soft neck skin a few kisses too, so that's exactly what he did. He groaned and purred a little during his little show of affection.
"But you're the cute one here, Saaga... You're so cute... I could just eat you up. Right here. Make these guys jealous of me..."

Saaga was just finishing her half a cup when the barkeep came over with a welcome chance of refills. She smiled at him a little awkwardly, what with Narye nuzzling at her neck and squirming in the crook of her arm like an oversized squirret. When she saw him rolling his eyes at them, she wondered whether it was because he felt embarrassed over having to watch such open displays of affection or physical attraction, or if it was because Narye was a regular customer. Both seemed like plausible scenarios, though she had to marvel at what kind of bartender would be squeamish of close social interactions. Wasn’t that almost the point of the whole job? She figured she didn’t have enough details to work from and concentrated instead on evading Narye’s advances.
He was starting to get out of hand with the neck kissing and the sniffing of her hair, pausing only to grab at the newly arrived bottle of sake. Saaga rolled her eyes a little and chuckled, taking it away from him as soon as he offered it to her direction. She contemplated for a moment. Should she continue being proper and just pour herself a cup, or should she drink straight from the bottle? At this point she was still not drunk enough to do the latter and poured a cup, a slave to good manners.
“Hmm, dancing’s all well and good. I’m not so sure I can trust you to stay on your feet though,” she joked and took a sip. She would have liked to ask him something personal, get to know him a little, but she didn’t really know how to go about it naturally. Plus she was not sure what kind of answers she was to expect when he was in this state.
“Aww, I kind of like my non-eaten state thanks,” she started and untangled herself from him carefully intending to stand up. She had not really thought about the other customers at the bar, but now that he'd brought it up she immediately became too aware of the fact they weren't alone and put on the brakes.
“I’m just gonna pop in the ladies’ room to wash my face. Don’t miss me too bad,” she finished with a laugh and took a step, only to stagger backwards and land onto his lap, looking quite surprised. For a moment she just sat there, like she was trying to figure out how walking worked and then, clearing her throat a little embarrassed she really did get up and go.
Her walk had a bit of a sway to it and she extended her right arm out to try and balance herself.

Saaga's leave for the powder room was reluctantly allowed by Narye as he half-struggled to get back fully into his own seat. He did manage it, after a few seconds of balancing, and without even falling out of his seat to boot. At this point, Narye staying upright in his own seat was analogous to a miracle. Even attempted to stand up again, like Saaga was doing, was just out his capability to do so.
However it seemed like Saaga was only marginally more capable of moving like a Human being than Narye because she fell back squarely into his lap. An audible and uncontrolled groan escaped Narye's throat when she did it. He was sorely tempted to hold onto her hips and hold her there, but she got up before any messages got to his arms and left Narye to temper his wiles alone. At he was treated to a nice, if swaying, view of her rear as she walked away.
When Saaga had disappeared from view, the barkeep came back up to Narye, smiling at the drunk man but with his arms crossed. Narye just shot him a stupid toothy grin in return. The barkeep's smile dissolved into a more concerned expression.
"So have you told her?"
Narye furrowed his eyebrows in question.
"Told her what?"
"About yourself."
"What about myself?"
"Your family."
It all clicked as soon as he said that, Narye knew what he was talking about. Suddenly Narye was feeling less jovial. He had not even mentioned to Saaga about his family, or what had happened to them. To the best of his knowledge, she did not even know that he had been married previously. He looked back toward where Saaga had gone, then back up at the barkeep.
"Do you think I should tell her?"
"You'll have to eventually."
Narye looked away, at the bottle of sake.
"Yeah..."
The barkeep walked away, his quest to drag Narye back to reality a bit completed, leaving Narye to think about his options and finish-off his cup of sake.

Judging by the state of the ladies’ toilet, Saaga figured the establishment did not entertain many female customers. Sure it was clean enough, but when she went to wash her hands what she got at first was a nice burst of orange rust colored water. She had to close and open the tap again and again and wait until the last bits of rust had gone down the sink. The state of the plumbing did not really shock her; it actually felt a little like home, or rather the place where she lived. Home was something where you enjoyed staying and she could not really say she felt that way about her apartment.
She washed her hands briskly and then her face, pausing to study the area of her eyes for a moment after she was done. Those dark shadows did nothing to enhance her appearance that was for sure. She smacked her lips a little annoyed and dried her hands on a small linen towel, hoping it had been changed recently. Strapping her metal thumb back into place was tedious even when she wasn’t under the influence of adult beverages so she just hung it around her neck and left the powder room, wiping her face with her hands.
When she came back to the table, instead of sitting back next to Narye she opted to drag her chair to the opposite side of the table. She sat down and smiled at him like the gesture of moving away from him had been nothing. They were still good.
“I take it you didn’t get into trouble while I was gone,” she chuckled and poured herself a drink and after a little pause to consider it, poured one to Narye as well.
One look at his face made her become a little suspicious. He had a serious, thoughtful expression.
“Something wrong? Or did you just sober up?” she asked and downed her drink.
