overall appearance: Roka is 6', and 160lbs. His slim build and wiry muscles make him deceptively strong. He has smooth skin, and a light tan. He keeps his hair shoulder length, but with a short fringe and jaw length bangs framing his face. His eyes are a deep blue color. His usual attire consists of a black shirt, loose, black pants and a pair of sandals, sometimes boots. He only wears a jacket if absolutley nessecary, and will always roll the sleeves up. He wears a silver ring on his right index finger.

Roka is, in a word, impulsive. He usually doesn't think about his actions or words before hand, though there are times when he thinks before acts. He is a kind person, and will rarely do or say something to intentionally hurt someone. If he unintentionally hurts someone with his words or actions he will do whatever he can to rectify it. If he sees someone in need he will often stop to help them. He is loyal to a fault, doing whatever he can to help his friends. He's claustrophobic, and is scared of heights.

Roka was born at the South Pole to a Water bender and a non-bender. He and his parents lived away from the rest of the tribe, making a living from selling tiger seal meat to travelers. For years his family have trained armadillo wolves to help them with the hunt, raising them to only attack when ordered or when threatened. When he was old enough to start helping with the training, Roka was given Emi to raise, and through the years she became his friend and companion. Alongside training Emi he also trained in water bending with his mother. At night, the four of them(Roka, his parents, and Emi) would listen to the Pro-Bending broadcasts on the radio, and Roka loved it. From a young age he expressed a wish to be a Pro-Bender. On he's 18th birthday he left the pole to travel to Republic City, taking Emi with him, and he's spent the last few months trying to get onto a team.
