animal companion: Terra's animal companion is a pygmy puma she befriended during one of her adventures in Ba Sing Se. The animal, who Terra has named Shia, is small for a pygmy puma. Her fur is a glossy black and covers all of her body. The only exception to this is the tan markings around her muzzle.
The two of them met one day when Terra had sneaked away from her parents home and somehow found herself in the lower ring of Ba Sing Se. Here she found a group of orphans harassing a small animal which turned out to be a pygmy puma cub. After she had taken care of the kids, she took the pygmy puma back home with her where she nursed it back to health, much to her father's dismay.
However, when she had nursed the pygmy puma cub back to health and then tried to release it back into the wild, it refused to leave. She tried sending it away several times, but every time it came back to her, so finally, Terra convinced her parents to let her keep it which they agreed to.

overall appearance: In terms of looks, Terra is very much like your average Earth Kingdom citizen. She’s got dark brown hair that falls down to her waist in soft curls. Her eyes are a dark shade of green and her skin is a light shade of brown. Standing at 5’4”, Terra is somewhat tall for her young age, and her body is pretty muscular because of the physical training and bending training she’s been practicing for the better part of her life.
In terms of clothes, Terra usually sticks with traditional earth kingdom clothes in the signature shades of green and brown. However, unlike most other women, and despite her noble blood, she usually wears pants because she doesn’t like dresses and skirts all that much. She will wear them at formal occassions, but in her everyday life, she usually wears pants and shirts.
As for her hair, Terra usually wears it up in a ponytail so it won’t get in the way when she’s out and about, and she usually wears a minimal amount of make-up. It’s not because make-up is something that she’s very interested in, but because she, whether she likes it or not, is a member of an important family in the Earth Kingdom and as such must carry herself accordingly.

Being born as the oldest out of three and crown princess of the Earth Kingdom, Terra is a natural born leader. She’s not afraid to take charge if the situation calls for it, and that coupled with her stubborness and strong sense of justice makes her a formidable opponent.
Terra also posses a strong sense of family, and she particularly loves her two younger sisters to bits and would do anything for them if they needed it. That goes for her friends too. Terra might be hard to befriend, but once you’ve won her friendship, you have a friend for life in the young princess.
As loyal as she is to the people close to her, she can also be quite naive in the sense that she wants to believe that everyone around her have other people’s best interest in mind, which naturally isn’t so. That makes her an easy target for people who wants to take advantage of the power she holds.
Her sense of adventure have also gotten her in quite some trouble in the past as she tends to wander off from her nannies and handmaids who have been charged with looking after her, and it would often hapen that Terra would tell them white lies about where she had been.
Growing up in the royal family and learning from an early age, the rules of politics was taught to the young princess from a very early age, resulting in her developing very good skills in terms of manipulating others to get her way with them.
Having been raised with the very best of everything that money could possibly buy, Terra is also quite strong in terms of her bending. Her mother, a former member of the Kyoshi warriors have also passed on her fans to her daugther as she felt that her oldest would have better use for them than she had, and Terra uses them in combination with her earthbending.

Terra was born as the oldest daughter out of three to the earth king and his wife, a former member of the Kyoshi warriors and now ambassador for the Earth Kingdom. As the queen never gave birth to any sons, it was decided that Terra, being the oldest of the three siblings, would be the one to take over after her dad, and the young girl of course had no objections to this.
Growing up, Terra was always given the best of everything, but she also felt quite lonely. Sure, she always had people looking after her and all, but she never really had anyone her own age to play with as she was home schooled, keeping her away from the commoners of the Earth Kingdom. As much as Terra loves her siblings and parent, it just wasn’t quite the same as having other people her own age.
The only time she was around other people her own age that wasn’t family, was when the royal family had visitors, and event hen it wasn’t quite normal as there was always great expectations to her and her behaviour around the palace.
Growing up this sheltered, Terra became more and more adventurous as she grew older, and she would often sneak away from the palace and wander the streets of Ba Sing Se on her own. The young girl loved this newfound freedom. She loved wandering the streets of the big city and she loved observing the commoners and their way of life.
Of course, this habit of sneaking off didn’t go unnoticed for long, and when t was discovered, she was forbidden from leaving the palace. This of course, only led to Terra becoming more crafty in her ways of sneaking away.
Her earth bending manifested itself when she was five years old and she was immidiately given the best teachers available. It quickly became apparent to her teachers that she was a highly skilled earthbender, much to their joy.
Now, at the age of fifteen, Terra can often be found acompanying her mother on her various diplomatic missions that she goes on for the Earth Kingdom, as her parents felt it was important for the crownprincess to get experience in dealing with politics before taking over the Earth Kingdom throne.
