animal companion: Gou is a gorilla goat that stands nine feet tall at the shoulder and weighs 1300lbs. He is thick muscled and has chocolaty brown fur, with white and black stripes. Surprisingly enough the big beast is generally sweet tempered and tries to be a lap pet. His big soft brown eyes often con people out of sweets, whenever he walks by.

overall appearance: Shun is a big fella. He stand's six feet six inches tall and weighs 200lbs. He looks imposing, but he is generally a gentle giant. He lacks any piercings or tattoos and his skin while callused on his hands and feet from work, is blemish free. Shun gerally wear a factory workers cloths, which consist of overalls, boots, a brown shirt, and a typical work hat. He is often smudged from working in the factories as a chimney sweep and working the streets as street sweeper with the help of Gou. He also carries a sledge hammer, with a fifteen pound metal head for work strapped across his back.

overall personality:Shun, is a hard working guy who just never seems to have enough money. He sleeps in the underground alongside the other bums. He's not bitter about it though, and generally keeps an upbeat attitude about his hard work paying off. He often uses his meager wages to help by the younger orphans food or clothes. Generally, nonviolent he uses intimidation to drive people away, but can get fairly violent if pushed hard enough. He prefers a defensive style of fighting once in combat, often surrounding himself in a suit of rock armor. If he see people in trouble he won't hesitate to jump in and lend a hand.

Shun was orphaned at the age of six, when his parents died of an illness that nearly killed him too. Somehow he pulled through, but with no one to look after him he was left to roam the streets. He found a group of kind hearted hobos that helped him survive the first turbulent years of his life after his parents death.
He taught himself how to earth bend while living as a street urchin by practicing everyday in the park. This often got him into trouble with the local authorities, since he was defacing public property. As he started to master earth bending at the age of fourteen trouble started brewing in the underground. A group of smugglers moved into the underground and started to heckle the other residents, often destroying the shanty towns the hobos had created. One day he got fed up with their cruelty and snuck into their hideout intent on driving them off.
Once inside he found the room where they kept all the animals, and that is where he found Gou locked up in a large cage along with other rare beasts. He released Gou and together they wrecked the base creating a racket so loud that the police force came down and found the smuggling ring and arrested all of smugglers. Gou and Shun where gone before they were noticed by the police. He and Gou have been inseparable ever since and have been giving the name the Guardians of the Underground.
Recently, he and Gou have had a rough patch with work. Shun's wages have been getting cut as well as his hours, so he isn't making a lot of money. He's been doing odd jobs around town trying to get money for a home. He has been recently approached by several gangs for work as hired muscle, but has refused each time.
