Where can a girl get some friends around here?

Ok, so Yu Lan, newly approved non-bender nomadish young lady, has just arrived in Republic City with little more than a rucksack and a smile. She's been around here before, but not on her own, and maybe now she's looking to stay.

I've been thinking about getting Yu Lan mixed up between some benders and non-bender/possible equalists? I want her to feel stuck between the two sides of the argument, so it would make sense for her to have made friends on both sides.

I also think I'll be setting her up as some kind of messenger/delivery person. Would fit her personality pretty well I think.

Anyway, I'm pretty open/flexible on ideas, so let me know what you think and we'll see if we can't work something out!

Welcome to the site and if you want to have thread with any of my characters let me know!

Tahrro - she could deliver a message to him and you need to find a reason to continue interaction, like needing to stay there for a bit because there were potential thugs around or something. (he lives in the dangerous side of residential area). Such a scenario would require you to start the thread coming at doorstep.

Another idea I can come up with would be a situation where she would require help of some sort. Alternately, I can just have him sitting around somewhere and she could approach him if she'd do that.

Neela - she has an open thread where she's sort of drowning if you fancy that.

Sazra - would go out of her way to cease talking to other women but we could get them both into a trouble scenario where they're forced to work together or something.

Let me know what character / scenario you prefer! If any.

Another idea I can come up with would be a situation where she would require help of some sort.

I could see this happening. Maybe she finds herself in a seedier area of town, on a delivery or something, and ends up outnumbered by some thugs. She's no damsel in distress, but when outnumbered (especially if there's a bender of some sort with the thugs) she would definitely need some help.
