Cautious but direct blue eyes meet others’ gaze unwaveringly. A young man of above average height, sporting lean muscles that permit elegant gestures to betray waterbending teachings and practices, keeps a dignified posture powdered with modesty. A deep scar traverses his face, clearly the work of something sharp. Tahrro wears his medium long hair down, but occasionally catches it into a blue tie and even more rarely weaves it into a loose braid.
The waterbender walks with a step hounded by hurry and watches the world with quiet awareness, rarely allowing for daydreaming. His tone is measured but expressive, much like his gestures. The look in his eyes rarely loses the undertone of suspicion, his gaze probingly following the dance of your movements as well as the nuance in your eyes. He seems tense by default so one has to wonder if he ever truly relaxes.
Not especially fond of tradition, Tahrro alternates between Fire Nation, Earth Kingdom and Water Tribe wear. He has the aura of someone who’s seen and experienced a lot for his years.

overall personality:
With a penchant for adventure, Tahrro is bold, independent and rather reckless in his pursuits. He chases after his desires with patience unyielding, focus unbroken and with little care to his own physical or mental integrity. In contrast to how he approaches activities is his excessive caution towards dealing with people. Deeply suspicious of others’ motivations, he is hard to come to trust but once and if someone manages to surmount all the barriers there is no stain on his loyalty and devotion.
Calm and calculated, his anger is hard to stir but once the dam breaks his aggravation is explosive and wild with a definite bend towards violent. Tahrro makes a conscious effort to keep his cool when faced with a most irritating person. There is no shred of patience within him for ignorant or arrogant people and he will promptly point it out by ignoring them entirely. The waterbender suffers from extravagant stubbornness, he always does things his way and gives as much importance to what people think of him as he does to counting invisible lemurs.
A deeply passionate soul, his interests are stable, his pursuit of them burning with calm intensity. Rather distant towards others, he avoids creating lasting bonds and prevents himself from developing significant attachments. Distrust frosts in his eyes. With a preference for independence, self-sufficiency and complete freedom to do as he pleases when he pleases, he likes it that way.
Kind and dependable, Tahrro won’t turn his back on those in need. Although he displays coldness like a trophy most days, he is not without empathy and understanding. For those in need, there is a mind to listen and a soul to abstain from harsh judgement. Unable to allow himself to back down from meaningful challenges, he will dive into competition head first and consider the consequences later. Secretly impulsive he stands as a veritable model of discipline and self-control. Possessed of the never give up mentality, there is no obstacle he is unwilling to face and no trial too harrowing to make him retreat if his mind is set on the prize.
::a past to remember[/font]
Tahrro was born in the Earth Kingdom to a moderately wealthy family of Ba Sing Se. His father was an earthbender and his mother a waterbender, lost to him through childbirth on a night of cold and sorrow. Stricken with grief, his remaining parent could not hold him for days, but when the thorns in his heart melted and he gazed upon his young son’s face the earthbender’s heart filled with new love.
Tahrro spent part of his childhood on the rich streets of Ba Sing Se, tying friendships he would need to take leave of when his father sent him to seek a master to train under. His youthful reluctance was forgotten when he treaded into the dome of the north and the cold of the very air filled his bones with unexpected delight. The world was alive around him, calling to him to act and shape it to his will, no longer encased in dirt but surrounded by water. Welcomed like a lost brother, he quickly warmed to his company and gained a master whose teachings would follow him forever.
It wasn’t long before the boy became a young man, but along with the thrill of his first love came the news of his father’s passing. Stuck lifeless by a sudden and inexplicable condition of the heart, his father left him with a name and the modest wealth he had built during his life. For the first time in many years, Tahrro left the Northern Water Tribe to see to his father’s funeral and gather what was left of his life in the Earth Kingdom. He planned on selling the house and using the yuans to build a new life for himself in the new home he had come to love.
Time drifts by without notice when you’re suddenly caught up in business. Half a year passed for Tahrro in Ba Sing Se, then came the day he set out to return to the new home of his heart. The rocky roads proved quite treacherous for a young waterbender travelling alone and for all his skill at using the water contained within his pouch, it was hardly enough against the group of bandits that sought to relieve him of his newly acquired riches. It didn’t help that their hideout expansion plans could do with a waterbender.
A long year of living in a grounded prison filled Tahrro’s nights with claustrophobic nightmares. To think that even in a time of peace, you could be robbed of your freedom by the wills of careless men. When he finally escaped, and in the process, killed two of the men that had kept him as free worker, Tahrro was a changed person, barely eighteen but quiet and thoughtful as an old man. He returned to the Water Tribe with nothing but the tattered shirt on his back and arms yearning for the comfort of a female now embracing another. In the time he had disappeared her heart had come to choose someone new.
Young, heartbroken, with no home, no yuans and no one to return to, Tahrro left the Northern Water Tribe the same day he had arrived. The road was his mistress for a few years and so he travelled, meditating on matters of life and thirsting for confrontation. He was going to be the river to flush out the profiteering bastards that plagued the lands and when next he would face a group of bandits he would not be so helpless.
Confrontations happened and he almost lost his life a few times, but after three years of travelling from place to place and having most care for his bending than anything else, Tahrro was ready to go to a place he had avoided.
He was going to go to Republic City.
