Mu Sheng stands at about six foot two and weighs roughly two hundred pounds. His years of working on the farm have left him with a muscular build that goes well with his height to negate looking lanky or stocky. His dark brown eyes compliment the dark hair that sits in a tuft upon his head. Mu has various nicks and small scars across his body from the many years of tilling a farm, but none that alter his appearance in any significant way.
In terms of clothing Mu sticks to his roots in the Earth Kingdom and wears very traditional clothing. The overall style mimics that of a kung fu suit with black cotton pants and a matching long sleeve shirt with the bamboo rod-closures. The cuffs and collar are deep green in color. His shoes are made of a very light fabric that he feels puts him more in tune with the ground below him, and are also colored black.

A man willing to take new chances in his attempt to decode the world around him one step at a time. Having moved to an entirely new city so different than the small village he spent his entire life in, Mu is extremely social and open to meeting new people. His mindset is that the more people he can surround himself with, the easier the transition will be. However, those that take his cheerful attitude for granted will be met with a sudden silence and the coldest of shoulders. Needless to say, trust is an element that Mu gives out a more freely than others would as his life experiences haven't led to any disdain for the human race.
This naivety can lead the young man into some gullible situations, few of which he are proud of but use as life experiences none the less. His sense of family is extremely strong, even from so far away, and he hopes to add more to his extended family as his time in Republic City grows.
::a past to remember[/font]
Born to a pair of farmers in a small village in the Earth Kingdom, Mu Sheng was the couple's first and only child. As the village had very few other children Mu spent a majority of his childhood helping his parents on the farm where incidentally his bending abilities were first brought to light in a tilling mishap. This incident took place at about the age of six, and though training would have been the best option for the boy there were no other benders in his small village which halted any progress before it could be started. For a good chunk of time the thought of bending would take a back seat in Mu's mind as he focused his attention on becoming a better farmer to one day take over the family farm, with only the occasional rock being tossed in the air.
Fate, however, seemed to take a personal interest in Mu's life as around his thirteenth birthday a new family moved into the village; the mother happening to be an earth bender. Up until this point he had intended to learn the tricks and trade of framing, but with the opportunity to enhance his aptitude in bending his mind set rapidly begin to shift. Within days Mu presented himself to the woman and asked for training, to which she agreed. From that day on she would imbue the boy with her knowledge of earth bending with which Mu would increase his skill while also balancing his time on the farm. Needless to say, this often left the boy exhausted and second guessing whether he wanted to continue his exploits in both bending and farming.
Mu Sheng would eventually confront his parents about his struggles of which they had taken note of quite some time ago. They were aware that the times were changing and that forcing their son to stay in the family business would only lead to resent and further exhaustion, and told him that he was free to focus solely on his bending. With approval from his parents, Mu began shifting his attention to improving his prowess in earth bending and would continue the same path for the next good chunk of his life.
At the age of nineteen Mu decided that he wanted to explore the world outside of his small village, and picked the bustling Republic City as his destination. Though it was extremely difficult to leave both his parents and bending teacher, he had set up a job and residence well before his departure as to have a foot in the door when he arrived.
