gender: Male
age: 21
element: Non-Bender
animal companion: n/a
::looking pretty good
hair color: Black
eye color: Green
skin color: Caucasian
overall appearance:
Standing a comfortable six feet and two inches, Remis often peers above the crowd when he walks down the many streets of Republic City. This information broker weaves in and out of the crowd with his thin build that has been worked to give him a fair set of muscles- albeit, you could never tell from the conservative clothing he wears. If there is one thing Remis hates more than grouchy old men and a customer who won't pay, it is sunburn. He covers his toned arms and chest with a fairly simple white tunic that stretches down the length of his arms. It is buttoned with gold disks sewn on with threads of a similar color, and also outfitted with the embroidery of a black phoneix across the right side of the chest. His pants are cream white, and his shoes are simple leather moccasins lined with fur.
This information broken keeps his unusually shiny black hair cut neatly to right above his ears with a set of bangs occasionally drifting into his dark green eyes. Remis' cheekbones are set fairly high in comparison to most individuals and his chin is slightly more prominent.

"Me? You're asking about me? Well to be honest, you really shouldn't do that. I don't like it when people know about me in any other context than as a lover or as an employee. However, seeing as you are an omnipresent force questioning me from the confines of my own mind, I guess I am obliged to answer. I only truly enjoy two things in my life- women and information. I spend my free time with women, and I spend my time on the job with information. I live a pretty great life, but I suppose you already knew that? Call me a narcissist, but it's not my fault I go and get what I want while other people sit in the background and let people like me take the spoils they keep leaving open. I know what I want and I know how to get it. Please don't stand in my way. I'd hate to take down a god."
::a past to remember
"And now you want to know about my history? Yeah, and I'm the intrusive one... And because you're of a higher dimension than me, I have to answer truthfully because you would instantly know if I was lying. Fine. I'll be honest. Promise.
I was born to some folk in some remote village about 50 miles outside of Republic city. I was the youngest of five children and my parents rarely paid attention to me. I spent my free time running around the village and observing things here and there. I'll never forget the time I caught the butcher cheating on his wife with his neighbor's daughter! That event showed me my true passion in life- a desire to know everyone's secret. At fifteen I packed up what few belongings I had and ran out to Republic City to start a new life. I had no plans, no ambition... I just had an unusual desire to start anew in a place where I didn't have to put up with my poor excuses for parents.
I quickly got involved in the underground world of Pro-bending. You know... for benders who were a bit too good at their sport to waste their time playing a game? Yes, I'm talking about the acclaimed "killer benders." Assassins hired by crime syndicates to take out members of other crime syndicates, who would in turn hire assassins and so on and so forth. If you have any amount of wit about you, I'm sure you can see it was a very lucrative business. I spent the first three years running messages back and forth between assassins before I finally got hired on by one of the local mobs to work as a spy. It was fun for awhile- I learned quite a bit about martial arts and how to get where I want to go in the city... Albeit at the 'cost' of learning some very, very big secrets of organized crime.
When the crime boss got offed himself, I decided to go ahead and work for myself. I've been doing this whole "information broking" deal for a good year now, and it is certainly the fine life. It's a pretty simple deal- someone comes to me and wants to know something. If I don't know it, I'll find out. When I know whatever it is, they give me oodles of money and I give them whatever random tidbit they needed to know. All of my business is by referral, though. It'd be really bad if the government found what I was doing (at least those not so high up in the food chain...)"
