overall appearance:Lanh is a strong girl who stands at 5’5”, her muscles are lean and she seems to be all limbs. Her body lacks much of any curves aside from the small shape her hips give her. Tan Brown hair reaches just past her shoulders, and is kept down most of the time.

overall personality:Lanh is a rather laid back person and not nearly as stubborn as one would think an earth/metal bender to be. She is a quiet girl who spends a lot of her time watching people and thinks before she speaks. She seems very neutral in her emotions she doesn’t show her feels much, that is not to say she doesn’t feel anything, just that she hides it most of the time, making her seem empty and a little cold.

Lanh was born in Ba Sing Se, but her parents sent her the metalbending academy near Yu Dao, this was because at a young age she showed skill as an earth bender, seeing this her parents felt it should be easy for her to learn metal bending. It is because of this that Lanh’s earthbending is poor though, as she was not given the time to learn how to earthbend before learning metalbending. Before she graduated Lanh left the academy, she wanted to learn more about the world, having grown up in a bending academy she felt like she knew nothing about people and the world. She headed to the Republic city, since there she would be able to find many different kinds of people and benders; she felt that it would be the best place to learn about the world.
When Lanh reached the republic city she was attacked by muggers, she was able to keep most of her stuff and knock out one of the muggers, but it is due to this incident that Lanh felt she should carry something to protect herself. After seeing the metal cables the republic police use she couldn’t help but thing that that was a great idea. With the little money she had Lanh was able to get her hand on a weighted metal chain.
Now that Lanh feels safe with her ‘chain of protection’ she is able to travel around the city to meet new people and learn about the world outside the metal bending academy.
