overall appearance:Totomi is alittle on the short side. He's just a few inches shy of 6 feet tall. But from his point of view that's quite a large amount. He has dark brown hair that he usually keeps cut to just above his neck, he also combs it out of his eyes. He tends to wear glasses but he isn't blind. He is usually clean shaven, and when he isn't he has a slight bit of stubble on his chin. Though he always shaves away any mustache that may be forming. His face is rather smooth and he is considered to be somewhat handsome. Though he doesn't see it as much as others do. And he almost never uses it to his advantage. His nose is slightly larger the the average person's but not so much that it draws an overt amount of attention to it. He wears a pair of boots that he's had for about three years. And it shows, he also wears casual clothes that he chose because he can quickly use he Earth Bending skills in them. His clothes have the traditional colors of the Earth Nation. He has an athletic build and is abit stronger then he looks.

overall personality:Totomi is a very fun loving guy. He will sometimes be very very quiet and observant. He can also be very very talkative at other times. He loves meeting new people and will often defend someone who is being accused of something when he doesn't see any real proof of the accusation. He doesn't have any real enemies due to the fact that he is generally friendly to everyone he meets. Though that sometimes gets on the nerves of others. Also he is optimistic to the extreme at times. Though he also has moments where he is both a realist and highly philosophical.

Totomi Hojo was born in the city of Omashu and grew up with his family. One day he and his family were on a trip to Republic City when they were attacked by a group of bandits. Totomi was the only survivor. For the next few months Totomi wandered the land trying to find a village or city. He finally found a small village tucked away in a forest. He spent the next few years of his life there. While he was there he learned skills needed to make a living. He learned how to work out in the fields and grow crops. He also learned that he was good with animals. He lived with an old man who was surprisingly healthy for a man his age. He taught Totomi to always look on the bright side of things and keep up beat no matter what. One day the village was attacked and Totomi was caught up in it. When he saw the village leader in danger he found himself jumping in to safe her and her family. If it weren't for that event he never would have known how capable of fighting he was. Also many times the village would have to negotiate with other villages. For crops and trade mostly. Totomi was one of the most skilled at doing this because of his use of logic. Also during his time in this village he learned many dances and songs, along with some music. He isn't the best at these things... But he is good enough.
Eventually he finally moved to Republic City and has been living there ever since. Since moving to Republic City Totomi has had a run in with a few traids. He as also knocked a few of them around. And as a result he has also been arrested more then once. But he is usually able to get off with a small sentence. Seeing as he always offered to clean up afterwards. Plus it doesn't hurt that he can be good with words when need be. And also he finds logic helps. He saw his first Pro Bending match shortly after moving to Republic City and ever since then he has dreamed of joining a team. Though for now he his content to simply watch or listen on the radio. He also bought himself a small apartment and is currently looking for a steady job in order to keep up with his rent, which he is now falling behind on.
