Zian was thankful to hear that his farm was made up strictly of crops. What they did to the animals in livestock farms was disgusting to say the least. The conditions that the animals are brought up in weren't really that desirable, and the way their lives were just taken away, such a horrible place. But he did understand that some people preferred to eat meat, and this is what had to be done in order for them to do so. He wasn't one to judge. It still just bothered him a little. But there was nothing he could do about it, so he just tried not to think about it. He knew that this practice wasn't good for every situation, but it worked best in this particular one.
"Oh there's no need to be sorry." he beamed, not quite knowing why he apologized. He definitely didn't need to, in his opinion the situation didn't call for it, but then again he just met this person and didn't know them very well. He didn't know the type of upbringing they had, it might just be polite for them to apologize in situations like the one that had just occurred. "And don't worry about flying." Zian said, noticing his slight apprehension to his last words about the bison's flight capabilities. "I've been fling on him since I was a baby, Bao is safer then a Satomobile!" the young man laughed and took his seat on the back of the large animal's neck, taking the thick leather rope wrapped around it's horns into his hands. "Yip Yip Bao!" the beast gave another happy roar before lifting it's tail, pounding it back down to the earth, it's large body lifting off the ground and into the sky.

In an odd case of mistaken irony Mu actually felt better hearing that the animal he was riding on was safer than one of the satomobiles. He had never developed any kind of liking for the mechanical monstrosities for unknown reasons, and often felt that his demise in Republic City would come from one of them. The worst he had done in a cart was pulling too hard on the reigns of the oxen which paled in comparison to the horrors of what could go wrong inside one of those metallic death traps. Even with all of that said, hearing the beast roar once more followed by the sudden, constant breeze brought about by flight was justifiably unnerving. However, there was a calming factor that came with zipping past some of the higher structures in the city while watching what few people who were out this late gradually shrink in size.
"This... isn't so bad." Mu began, as his head seemed to be positioned on a swivel to take in the night view of Republic City from an increasing altitude. "I can definitely see how one could get used to getting around this way." He added in a voice that had noticeably begun to calm compared to a few minutes ago. Though the earth-bender had no intentions to try and acquire a flying bison of his own, any time soon at least, he enjoyed the change of pace from having to poorly navigate crowded streets day after day. Besides, it wasn't like the air nomads were handing out bisons to everyone who asked, right? Right?!

Zian always loved the feeling of flying, it felt so free, so relaxing. If he was an airbender, he would spend most of his days in the air with the signature airbeder glider. It was amazing to watch the airbender children swoop around on them. Though air seemed so inviting, he would always stay true to his own element. He found it to be the most versatile element of the four, though he liked the the evasive techniques of the air nomads opposed to the hard offensive style of traditional earthbending. With all that aside, he was just thankful that he had a bison to be able to experience flight on.
"I would live up here, but Bao would get really tired." he said with a jovial laugh, changing their course to point to his desired direction. "It'll take us a couple of minutes to get there." he told his passenger, climbing from the bison's head into the saddle. "Oh I almost forgot I left this in here." Zian picked up a belt that was sitting in the saddle, clipping it around his waste, fiddling with it a little. "Remember when I said that the separation of the elements is an illusion? I've been kind of playing around with that theory, and with this belt, I can mimic all the bending styles with my eathbending." we explained without being asked for explanation. This was something he worked very hard on, and was always eager to show it to new people. "I can't do it up here, I need solid ground to stand on, but would you maybe want to see a demonstration once we land?" other then the other acolytes, he hadn't the chance to show it off to many other people, so was kind of excited to do so.

The humor from the air acolyte proved a great distraction from the remaining doubts Mu had about riding on the back of a flying bison. This was certainly an experience that he would not dare forget for years to come as the odds of being able to hitch a ride on a bison were slim to none. Mu didn't really mind how long it took to get to his side of the city as it would surely be a lot quicker than him trying to traverse the streets on his own in the middle of the night, that much was certain. Besides, when was he ever going to get another view like this?
Mu wasn't exactly sure why Zian was so enthusiastic about finding a belt that seemed a tad more aesthetic than most; perhaps the boy was a bit of a fashion enthusiast to which there would be no judgement coming from the earth-bender. However, that assumption would be quickly shot down once he began speaking of the illusion of separation that served it's sole purpose to quickly confuse Mu. He had no idea how a simple belt could mimic all of the elements and he was immediately skeptical. Surely no amount of meditation or air nomad training could help a person use all the elements unless they were the avatar. Unless Zian was... no, it couldn't be. "Sure. I'm going to have to see this to believe it anyway." Mu replied with a small chuckle as his mind wandered onto the different methods one could even try and use all the elements. For the time being he would be a non-believer until proven otherwise.

Zian was more excited to land then anything, he just wanted to show off, though. As Bao landed in he East part of the city, he jumped off his back almost before the bison landed, bending the earth up to cushion his fall as he landed, his left hand fiddling with his belt instinctually, flicking the flint and steel the he rigged up on one of the pouches. Making sure that Mu was watching, he flipped open the pouch, bending the coal dust out of it, lighting it on fire with the flint and steel as it passed. The dust lit on fire, Zian holding a ball of fire in his hand now. "I had to study the other forms of bending, and invent alternate stances that combine earthbending forms with the certain element." taking his stance, pushing the fire forward to create a blast.
"Fire was the hardest to figure out, and air was hardest to learn." he explained, un-clipping the second pouch, bending out some sand. "Even though the sand benders kind of already invented the stances, I found them really difficult to master." The sand swirled into a small tornado creating a breeze around them. Finishing the air demonstration, he made a slice in the air with the sand, much like a slice of air an airbender would use.
Water was the last, obviously. For this, he kept a satchel filled with mud water. Undoing the top, Zian bent out the mud water, his movements very much like a water benders. The mud flowed around him, then he put it back into it's container. "It's nothing powerful or anything, but there it is." he gave a smile, eager to hear what Mu thought about his work.
